Our rezone application for the 33 st location has now been posted. This provides an opportunity for local residents to have a say on the future of the property.
We have started consulting the immediate neighbours, and we were very pleased to meet the home owners next door. They have agreed to support our project in principle and offer comments in favour of the rezoning application to the city.
We recently attended a consultation event in Killarney where a different application was discussed. It received considerable resistance from the immediate neighbours. You can imagine what a huge relief it was to have our project welcomed by the friendly people next door.
The rezoning application is a multi month process. We will write a new blog post at each stage of the process as a small contribution to community engagement related to our business in Killarney.
The city placed this sign on the front lawn of our project site. Comments are received by the planning staff.
